Wearing these sneakers right out of the box was no problem at all—the napa leather is incredibly soft and the chunky gum sole gives great grip on slick floors. The retro shape with that contemporary feel makes them look fresh with jeans or a dress. Really glad I picked up this pair.

The napa leather is buttery soft right away, no break-in blisters at all. I've worn them for three full days of walking around the city and the grippy toothed sole handles wet pavement fine.

Wore these straight out of the box for a full day of walking around the city and my feet were fine. The dented rubber sole actually grips on wet pavement, which I didn't expect from a retro-looking sneaker. The napa leather has that broken-in feel already.
